Ramalingaswamy Re-Entry Fellowship 2021-2022
The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India welcomes applications for confirmations in the accompanying Fellowship Program for the scholarly year 2021-2022.
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals working in overseas research institutions for the “Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship (DBT-RLS)”, prestigious Re-Entry Scheme of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. Initiated in the year 2006 – 2007, DBT-RLS programme has been instrumental in creating a pool of highly skilled and trained researchers working on cutting edge technologies in Indian universities and institutions as well as building a critical mass of science leaders aimed at competence building in biotechnology.
Duration of Fellowship: Five years.
Eligibility: PhD / MD Degree / equivalent in Life Sciences / Agriculture, Bioinformatics / equivalent subjects. Must have at least three years of postdoctoral research experience in overseas (foreign) research laboratories.
* Scientists working in Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Bio-Engineering, Healthcare (Human, Animal), Agriculture, Veterinary Biotechnology, Bio-Energy and related fields are eligible.
Age: Must not exceed 45 years.
Fellowship Amount: Rs. 1,00,000 / - per month. An additional Rs 18,500 per month is paid under HRA.
